Serbian European Digital Innovation Hub on AI

The Serbian European Digital Innovation Hub on AI (S4AI_HUB) represents a central spot for the development of applicable solutions and the value that artificial intelligence and Industry 5.0 bring to the business environment of Serbia. As an initiative supported by the European Commission, S4AI_HUB supports startups, SMEs and public administration in understanding, integrating, and applying AI technologies, helping them to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and competitive business environment. The task is to enable organizations to design and implement strategies and solutions based on artificial intelligence, so that they can improve their products and services, ensure long-term relevance in the market and strengthen their position in the era of accelerated technological development.

The S4AI_HUB actively contributes to the development of the innovative business community in Serbia, as well as to the creation of sustainable solutions and opportunities for the digital future.

The support process starts with Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA), which helps organizations understand their current capabilities, identify gaps and recognize where AI and digital technologies can create the most value. Based on this, Skills and Trainings help teams develop the knowledge needed to use new technologies, manage change and participate actively in digital transformation.

To reduce risk before larger investments, Test Before Invest gives organizations access to expert knowledge, laboratory capacities and testing environments where ideas can be evaluated and improved. When a solution shows potential, Access to Financing supports startups, SMEs and public administration in identifying funding opportunities for implementation, scaling and commercialization of AI-based and digital projects.

Project participants are Science and Technology Park Niš (STP Niš), Science and Technology Park Čačak (STP Čačak), Innovation Center of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade (ICEF), Institute for Research and Development of Artificial Intelligence of Serbia (IVI), Center for Digital Transformation (CDT), Ni-CAT Cluster and ICT Hub.

S4AI_HUB has been financed through the DIGITAL EUROPE Programme under the Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs call.
