Logistics and internal material flows are an important part of manufacturing competitiveness, especially for SMEs that need to improve efficiency without making large and risky investments. The Horizon 2020 cascade project “Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs” (L4MS) addressed this challenge through a pan-European acceleration programme focused on helping manufacturing companies explore and adopt new technologies for factory logistics, including automation and mobile robotics.

As a satellite partner, the role in the project was primarily focused on promotion, communication and ecosystem engagement in Serbia. The project provided valuable insight into how local manufacturing companies, engineers and innovation stakeholders understand automation, intralogistics and the practical challenges of introducing new technologies into production environments.

The project included a large number of workshops and events dedicated to the promotion of project activities and cooperation with ecosystem users.
