Serbian Prime Minister and Minister of Science in ICEF

We had a special honor to welcome Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Šarčević in ICEF.

Our guests visited laboratories for eHealth and IoT, and met some of our young, talented and hardworking engineers and researchers. The tour was given by ICEF’s director Dr Milica Đurić Jovičić and the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering Prof. Dr Milo Tomašević.

Our guests were shown a selection of our ongoing projects from eHealth lab, including a wireless inertial sensor system for gait analysis and automatic diagnostics of gait impairments, an edutaiment system for children with autism, and a sensor system for monitoring drivers’ vital signs, emotions and alertness.

The second part of the visit included a closed meeting, where other ICEF’s activities and results were presented, followed by the discussion about future work and development.

The Prime Minister signed the printing of the audio recording of Nikola Tesla’s inspiring speech about the importance of engineering and science for the future.

This print will stay in ICEF as a reminder of this day and a message to our employees and associates that the Serbian Government lead by our Prime Minister recognizes our work, knowledge and potential for further growth.
